The hotel picture had grandpa Kern on the far left side of the picture.  The car is most likely the one that grandpa bought but didn't drive.(Not sure, maybe your dad would know who's car it is.  Ask him if it was our Essex.  If so, I fell out of it when Mom turned the corner at Main and School Street in Frankenmuth as the door opened when I was leaning on it.  That would explain a lot of things about me, wouldn't it?)
