JEANETTE MARGARET (KERN) ELBERS

Jeanette graduated from St. Lorenz Lutheran School, Arthur Hill  High School in Saginaw, and Central Michigan University, where she obtained her teaching degree in Elementary Education.  She has taught at Frankenmuth and East Lansing elementary schools.

Jeanette subsequently obtained work at Michigan State University in their Housing and Food Service Department, and is currently serving as assistant to the Human Resources Manager of that department..

She was also involved in sports, playing softball, golf, and bowling.  At one time in a mixed league, she had 10 straight strikes en route to a 287 game.

Jeanette married Charles Elbers from Reese, Michigan on 10/12/1963.  Chuck is a retired Federal Reserve Bank Examiner.

They have two daughters, Lisa Marie (DuSatko) and Amy Jean (Baker).
