The 2010 Tour D'Thumb. Tommy explains his perch techniques. We caught a few small perch while waiting for van repairs.

Joe fished for about 1 minute, and caught one of the few of the day.

Nick must have hooked 15 of these. Fishing for steelies, big smallmouths occasionally hit the lure.

Mike and I even doubled up. Of course my fish was the largest .

Phil Hall caught his first steelhead on the Betsie. Phil, Marty and Sammy took a northern fishing tour on the last weekend of April.

On April 30 we took a drive to Grindstone. We cast for smallmouth during the extended season.

It was a beautiful day, a nice drive and we had a good dinner too.

On May 1, Steve and Nate fished the Muskegon for steelhead.

We caught small trout, but didn't really spend a great deal of time fishing.

Dad fished a bit from one of the landings on the river.

Nick Pennington (Highpockets), with a large Saginaw Bay walleye.

Highpockets and Slim (the Nick's) plied their fly rod skills on shallow Carp on Memorial Day weekend in Grand Traverse Bay.

Highpockets caught this large fish on a 5 wt.

Slim caught this monster on a 5 wt as well. Both Nick's used wooley buggers from Hill's Discount Flies.

A smallmouth from Elk Rapids. We caught a variety of fish here; ranging from Nick P's large carp to rainbow's, and a sucker.

Nick and Andrea took a Carribean cruise for spring break. Nick is pictured at a small island in the Bahamas.

Using his waterproof camera, Nick snapped a shot of schooling bait fish off of St. Thomas.

While snorkeling he shot a picture of a tarpon cruising through baitfish.

An unkown species caught on a shrimp pattern.

Nick hooked a barracuda with his travel 5 wt.
