Nick recently emailed a few pictures from this summer. Here Andrea fishes on the Seque River.

Andrea displays a trout she caught on a fly.

Nick traveled to Denver Co. for Adam Dunston's bachelor party. He worked in a little fishing too.

On Sept. 17-19 Terry, Nick, Nick and I traveled to the Betsie for salmon.

Nick strapped on to his first fly rod salmon. It was a beauty.

Nick caught fish non-stop. The fishing had yet to hit the peak run.

Nick "caught" on quickly. His brother-in-law is and excellent teacher on the stream as well as the classroom.

This was the monster of the trip. Nick caught this 20+ pounder before daybreak.

This fish was caught on an egg pattern. It took Nick up and down the stream before it was landed. Hey, its the "classic Silver Bullet pose."

Even an old guy from Millington caught a few.

Terry was the "Net Master". He even snared a fish I was fighting while it was leaping in mid-air - doing a flip.

Terry displays the product of his netting skills.

Steve joined us for a Saturday morning's fishing.

I really enjoyed the weekend with both Nicks. My only regret was that Josh was unable to join us - maybe next year?

Nick stalks a salmon on a bed.

A Betsie River salmon. The fish seemed to be very fresh this year.

Terry casts in the evening.

Brian, Nick and friend Jeremy Clontz fished Lake Erie the week of 11/2. Brian is shown with an evenings catch.

Nick caught some large Erie walleyes. Six or seven pounds was not uncommon.

Jeremy proudly displays another huge walleye from Lake Erie.

Another big 'eye. 25" and heavy

They keep getting bigger! 28" 8.5 lbs.

The boys fished with Walleye 101's Lance Valentine's group. Brian makes an annual trip in the fall.

Dave Johnson caught this 32" northern while perch fishing on the Bay on 11/12.
