Terry, Joe, Mike and I hit the bay in the afternoon of 8/16.

Joe & Terry catch some sun. It was a humid but windy day.

Buck & I have use the shade.

Buck was on the rod.

A nice eye that was netted by Mike. We lost several fish at the boat on this day.

Terry holds a 22" walleye.

We felt we might have been able to limit out in a very short time had we been able to work certain areas.

The days catch.

On Aug. 19, Jim Oldenburg and Dave Johnson fished for walleye on the Bay.

Jim poses with the day's catch.

Dave remarked that the walleye bite is consistent much later this year.

Sam and I wanted to know what it might be like to retire, so we took a day off and hired a retiree to guide us.

We fished the AuSable below Mio. I finally had the courage to dunk the waterproof camera.

We caught 10" rainbows all day. This one was a bit smaller.

Problem Sam? That is an unusual lure retrive.

Sam observes as Joe casts. The day turned out to be beautiful with temps in the mid-70's.

A view from the high banks. Olive wooley buggers were the ticket!

Ken Selzer emailed some pictures from his summer western trout trip. Cody Wyoming and Yellowstone were some of the destinations.

Ken and his friends made camp back in Slough Creek. The happend to notice some very large tracks in the mud.

Beautiful Slough Creek in Yellowstone. Nick & Sammy also fished this river back in '06.

Ken displays a very nice cutthroat.

A postcard quality evening picture.
