On July 19 we participated in Fred & Joe's annual walleye tourney. The crew of the Nuts & Bolts preps their lines prior to the shotgun start at 7 am

The Lucky Lee motors to the mouth of the harbor. The Lucky Lee produced their limit in a short time.

Heading out for a limit of walleyes.

Joe D and his gang of fisherman on Quality Time.

It was a great day to fish. And the fish cooperated.

The Silver Bullet Crew are getting the lines ready.

Capt. Fred Kurrle's Time Out was waiting for it's crew. This is usually the "Boat to Beat".

Casey holds a huge catfish landed during the outing.

Sam & Joe check their watches for the start of the tourney. All of the crews worked hard as the action was fast and furious on this day.

A 20 fish limit by 10:30. The captain even got into the act on this day by landing a couple of nice 'eyes.

Fred & Casey greeted each boat as they returned to the docks. Thanks again Fred & Joe for the invite, as we look forward to this each year.

Fred, Casey, Fred & Sam. Just curious, what are both Fred's hiding behind their backs?

We enjoyed a cold one at Fred's trailer before heading home.

We finished so early that we had lunch back at the barn.

Party time at the List's

"Honest Tom" Shreve was the official judge of the tourney.

Let the weigh-in begin.

Tom took his job seriously.

Tom was assisted by Marcia and Diane.

The fishermen exchanged their stories.

Everyone enjoyed the List hospitality.

More fish stories.

More party pics. A big thank-you to Fred & Kelly for sending some of their pictures.

Light up the friers.

Bluegills and walleyes.

Joanne and Fred prepare to cook fish.

The fish fry at the List homestead. The bluegills that were provided by Joanne Shreve were great, as were the 'eyes cooked by Fred Kurrle.

Our host Fred.

Darn rain.

Pictures from the west. Nick is holding a nice Yellowstone Lake Cutthroat

Nick is standing in front of Grebe Lake. He caught several Grayling on this hike.

Andrea poses with her first ever fly rod trout.

Opps...that WAS her first ever fly rod trout.

On July 29, Joe, Terry, Mike & I took advantage of a good weather report and traveled to the Bay.

The action was steady. We employed the usual tactic - crawler harnesses.

Hey, its an 'eater!

Joe and a nice walleye.

Lunch on the Bullet.

We had our limit of twenty fish before noon.

Our Ga. fishing friend, Ken Selzer, sends these wonderful pictures of his granddaughter. Ken is teaching Haylie to tie flies.

Haylie says, "Papaw wanted me to use a skunk tail, but I don't want to...its is ucky. I like to tie flies."

Memories. This is the reason we should take pictures. These moments can never be duplicated, only remembered.

On Aug. 10 the Silver Bullet crew hosted a walleye fry.

Getting ready to cook fish. Unfortunately, it rained all day.

L-R: Terry, Roger and Mike.

We cooked about 50 walleyes and almost all were devoured.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the fish. Thanks to all for coming and helping.
