Terry and Terry fished out of Pt. Huron the weekend of 5/23. The walleye on the left is a monster and it measured 31".

Nick and I were the guest of Ken Selzer and fished the Soque River on 5/24. Ken was a great host and a wonderful guide.

My first Soque Trout. This river has it origins in the Georgia mountains and runs clear and cold.

A good rainbow. We primarily fished nymphs below wooly buggers. Ken, I'm working on the roll cast.

One of Nick's recent purchases was a Olympus waterproof camera. I forsee some great pictures in the future.

The fish were aggressive and fought well. This fish is typical of the trout that we caught.

The fishing was steady throughout the day. The river was beautiful and very wadable.

Ken lands one of Nick's fish.

Ken and Nick display a fine rainbow. Ken mentioned that he has been hooking some mosters of late.

Nick and fish. Nick may have been slighty out-fished on this trip and he blames it on not wearing the lucky fishing shirt.

Thanks again Ken, I had a great time at the Bear Trout Lodge.

The Johnson Crew traveled to Lochlomand Camp in Longlac, Ont. on the week of June 16. Dave is pictured with a nice catch.

Dave's son Eric caught several very nice northerns.

Dave says that it rained all week and the logging roads were in bad condition.

Not only did the Johnson Crew catch walleyes and northerns, but large perch as well.

Eric hoists a very nice stringer of walleye.

The Silver Bullet made its 2008 maiden voyage on June 21, the waters were rather rough early.

This may be the smallest walleye that we ever boated.

The fishing was so slow that Joe offered up a plea to the fishing gods for some action.

Now this is a rare photo indeed, Buck left the captain's chair to crew. Of course, Joe had to instruct.

Buck grabbed a release. We boated four walleyes on this abreviated trip.

Buck with a 17 inch fish. Our goal on this trip was to run the boat, as we only fished for a couple of hours.

Steve, Dad, Mike, Nate and I traveled to the Manistee for Hex on the week of June 23.

The Kern Brothers on the stream.

Steve landed a nice brown on 6/24.

Nate makes a cast on the stream.

Brother Steve fishing.

Mike ties flies in the afternoon.

Dad takes a mid-day snooze. It was certainly a relexed trip. See Fishing Reports

I asked Ken Selzer to email a couple of pix from his western vacation. Here is Ken with a nice rainbow on The Madison River.

A picture of Ken on the Madison, a river that Nick & AJ will fish later this summer. Notice the snow capped mountain in the background.

Ken and rainbow. He also fished the Firehole River.

Montana! I can't wait to go back.
