Marty and Sam took a trip, hunting for salmon on the weekend of the 22nd.

It was a beautiful day...Marty and Sam fished the piers and the river.

Sam, Nick, Terry and I traveled to the Betsie on 9/27 for salmon. The fish bunched on gravel bars, and we attempted to entice a strike.

Thursday provided the best day of fishing as the fish were aggresively striking. It was also fortunate that Nick wore his lucky fishing shirt.

Sam, Nick and Terry after the first morning's fishing. These guys can fish...each landing large numbers of salmon.

Nck battles a large king after dark. It was amazing to observe how territorial the males are when a hen was on a gravel bar.

Terry and Nick landed fish at the same time. There was some discussion as to who's fish was the largest.

Terry and Nick tag team a run. This particular location held a large number of salmon each day.

Even I got in on the act. What's the saying about blind squirrels and nuts?

Terry hunts for the large fish and catches many. These are three that he kept after a morning's fishing.

Sam caught many larger salmon on this weekend. This fish was a fresh arrival and is destined for the smoker.

Bret holds a nice king. Nick, Sam and Bret joined Terry and Tammy for a Saturday morning trip.

Scott Selzer....you started something.

Now its time for breakfast at Rosie's.

Dave, Dan and Eric Johnson hit the bay on 11/4.

Nice November perch.

Brian Pennington fished Lake Erie on 11/2.

These are some of the lunker Erie walleyes.

Brian's fishing partner was Jeremy Clontz
