We traveled to Caseville for MLK's Birthday

Sam and Frank found their holes.

Was the bait bigger than the perch? This is the smallest perch I've ever witnessed caught on hook and line. A world record of sorts.

Nick, Brett, Michael Cassidy and friend Jason fished the Chattooga River on 3/3 -3/4 2007

Cousin Michael on the Chattooga River. This river was made famous by the movie Deliverance.

Nick and Michael

Michael and a nice brown accompanied by an ice cold brew.

3/10 to the Flint for spring walleye.

Find Waldo...er, Sam

Nick, his grandfather, Keith and dad, Terry took a Georgia trout trip on 3/23/07 on a Georgia River.

Terry landed this 4 3/4 lb rainbow on a fly rod. His first ever flyrod trout.

Another nice rainbow. I think a flyrod may be on someone's Christmas list this year.

Nick was also successful, displaying a very nice rainbow. Read about the trip on the 2007 Fishing Report Page

The 2007 Tour De Thumb participants. L-R Dave, Sammy, Sam, Frank, Dominic and Joe. See 2007 Fishing Reports

Ice was forming in Grindstone Harbor on this year's Good Friday tour.

It was a very cold and windy day. Sammy saved our honor by making a few casts at Grindstone.

Joe and Dave had their Man Cards suspended for sitting in a warm truck all day.

Dom gives his father a birthday hug. Frank celebrated his 62nd on this trip.

Nick and Andrea traveled to Ireland over Spring Break.

Somehow we knew there would be some fishing worked in on this trip

Nick fishes the River Laurne outside of Killarney in County Kerry.

Killarney Lakes, near the town of Killarney.

Dan (above), Dave and Ryan Johnson hit the bay on 4/21. The day was calm, and walleyes were caught.

The day's catch. The largest was 25". See Fishing Report Page for details.

Ryan Johnson with a very nice Saginaw Bay walleye. The Johnson's were successful on the spring trip.

Frank, Sam, Sammy, Dom & I took a quick steelhead trip on 4/21-4/22.

Sammy caught this rainbow on the evening of the 21st.

Everyone seemed pleased with their steaks, however, for some reason, mine seemed to be a bit over-peppered.

A post-dinner discussion at the cabin.

Dom prepares to fish. The steelies were just beginning to move upstream from the lake.

Frank takes a break. It was 86 degrees on this April 22nd. Very hot in the neoprenes.

April 21st in Georgia. Eric caught this rainbow on a zug bug under a hopper. It was a day for huge rainbows. See 2007 Fishing Reports for the story.

A monster rainbow Nick's largest stream trout ever. Although not measured, its est. to be 26-27" and 6-7 lbs. Caught on a Copper John below a Cadis.

Another trophy rainbow. Two in one day! This fish is in the 5 lb range. (Hey Nick... I just bought a plane ticket).
