First stop - Grindstone City. We enjoyed a calm and beautiful April day.

Roger, Sam & Sammy gear up. On this day the harbor was briming with smallmouth bass

We were joined by Frankie, Austin, Haley and Caleb - all were the real expert fishermen of the trip.

We lined up casting for brown's & steelhead. What we caught were a bunch of smallies.

Joe out fished Sam by a wide margin on this day. Joe was voted the Most Improved Fisherman.

Joe and I take a break from wading. The weather was absolutely wonderful on this trip.

Much to the delight of family members, Frank had a slight slip on a rock and took on water.

The only fish kept on this day, a small Coho

In the afternoon we relocated to Caseville for perch.

Frank surveys the action as Frankie tends rods in the background.

"You should have been here yesterday". Haley proved to be a real trooper, fishing longer that either Dave or Joe.

Yes Joe, its time to eat again. We were about to leave for Bayport.

Sam casts as the sun sets.
